Im judging him based on all the times ive seen him. He's alright, nowt special. Not even half the laiker Conor was for us. Just as an example.
I thought the same for Hedges especially when he was our top scorer in those early days, after also scoring at Bristol and the winner at home to Morecambe in the cup. I did wonder at the time as well if his height could be used if necessary as a makeshift striker when needed. It was good to see him replace Thiam so at least that kept the same shape, Im liking Jose's way of thinking there.
That’s your opinion me and the guys that went no what happened and who played well to you can have your view and I’ll have mine he was miles better than Gardner and has been immense this season
Sure he wouldn’t your a footballing expert yes he was booked but how does that affect him getting in the ball he’s way behind Williams IMO and he’s 6 years older he hides never wants the ball
No more a footballing expert than you I meant that Hecky won’t be at Leeds as he will have been sacked....
Like Kent & a lot of others he has added something that we may not be able to afford in the way of raw talent of a high level. Problem is he is a kid & learning & making mistakes. Costly ones at times. I see these loans as not taking us forward as a club, as, as soon as the mistakes are eliminated he will be recalled or sold for decent money to a "big club". With the improved resources of the new owners I hope we start to develop more of our own youngsters & thus profit from them (and be able to drop them where they dip in form). I have no problem us taking in players that are up to speed, like McBurnie, Matty James & Gardner, to fill a short term hole. If he hadn't had a dip in form I suspect Everton may have recalled him & left us short. It's all opinions. He will definitely make a good championship player & maybe a premier league one in a few years.
after watching Williams for the best part of this season, and taking into account his age, experience and game time, you could try and offer the lad some defence, but and it’s a big BUT. His positional sense is poor, his Ball retention is poor, his forward play is poor, he’s a young lad with no real pace!!!!. And before you pro Williams supporters spit the dummy out, put the matches on and watch em again( I have), he’s positionally poor, I would hope with games that he would get better, but he’s always the wrong side of play, GOAL SIDE, it’s not that hard, and it’s not new!!!!
ye mate that’s why he’s the highest rated midfielder in our team made the most passes and tackles at the age of 21 in his first season is Williams the new scapegoat or something feel sorry for the kid he’s had a great debut season IMO, won’t surprise me when he goes on to probably have a brilliant career, how about let the kid play his football and everyone get of his back
Not a Scape Goat, just not good enough, Quoting Stats is all well and good, but if I’m not mistaken were forth bottom!!!!, that’s the only real stat that matters
If you watched the game properly you would of seen bits of class that u couldn’t of seen from anyone else other than Yids and mcburnie one was a half volley pass across the pitch straight to mcburnies toe and another was the 2 1-2s he did in the middle of the pitch sent the boy for a hotdog and played it wide watch the highlights back now he was involved in every attack cut the kid some slack
Gardner knocked him out of the park last night, I wouldn’t be surprised if Williams his dropped Saturday,
Gardner knocked him out of. The park ?? Arnt they suppose to be on the same team yes Gardner played brilliant last night but Williams was also good and in the thick of every attack you know nothing about football to say he’s not good enough if he weren’t good enough why would we put a 1 million pound bid in why would he start every game under every manager?? Go and have a lie down mate think you need one
