I assume if we did win the toss that we were hoping to have the wind behind us first half. This was a bit daft as the sun was then directly in Townsend's eyes first half when it was out and their 2nd goal flew in wind-assisted after the change round. I think we had one shot on target 1st half, maybe Gardner or Mallan from 25 yards, that bounced once straight into the keeper's arms.
Unless the rules have changed, if you win the toss, you choose the end to attack in the first half. The opposition then kicks off.
Exactly. Millwall kicked off the first half. It's probably happened before but I can't say I can recall it.
