How we survive relegation. We are not getting points & performances are starting to slide, along with effort & determination from the squad. I know other sides have less points than us, but it does look like 3 from the bottom 4 & Birmingham with Monk in charge look like they will start to be harder to beat. For us to have to get 4 points to bring the others back into the mix, i'm struggling to see us getting 4 points total to the end of the season! It's all opinions i know, but honestly, it's bad & i'm worried more now than at any other point of the season as to if we have what is needed to remain in this league. Think it is also because we know how hard it will be to get back up & the money we will lose & type of player we can attract on our budget, I could go on & on.......!!!!!
I agree with this. To be fair, it looked less than rosy halfway through the "rock bottom to Heckingbottom" season. But I really do struggle to see where we have similar characters to rescue us from the present downturn. The Head Coach's preferred modus operandum is not matched by the abilities of his squad. It's not a case of being 'worried' for me, because quite frankly there are more important things to be worried about. But disappointed and dispirited about the club? Definitely. And all the more because this is a situation of the club's own making. Hecky was right to move on because the club has failed to grow and match his own ambitions.
Stop worrying , its not worth it , I have already accepted we are down & if they were to perform a minor miracle & get out of this mess then the feeling would be euphoric but if we drop, then if like me, you will be already through the grieving process & be able to enjoy the summer
He must've thought that under the old regime when the Forest & Sunderland jobs were 'up for grabs' then.
What I don't understand is if we think Gary Monk is going to have such a positive impact at Birmingham, why were not clamouring at the time for us to get him here. We may have been but its not how I remember it.
