When we go down it won't be because of the formation.

It will be due to the last three transfer windows. Main January and summer 2017.

We are all doomed, we have the worst coach ever who somehow conned his way in to some of Europe's top teams, we have players who hate us so much that they don't try and are happy for their careers to fail as no one will ever want them, we have owners who just want to take all our money and put nothing in I mean how long do owners want we should be challenging for the playoffs now as we should have spent millions in January. Let's not forget the last owners who have ruined our lives for not forcing our darling hourihane to stay by paying him 30k a week and same with the others who are all ripping this league up for other teams. For those of us bothered let's go on good Friday and let them know how **** they all are and boo with all our might then be quiet and complain all game because that can be our contribution as we have paid our money so we deserve to be entertained by a fantastic team everytime and have a given right to be higher in the table.

Bit childish from me but thought I'd join in as I haven't posted much. What ever will be it's football and we should keep going and supporting through the ups and downs.

It doesn’t matter what us on here think, the players look to be resigned to relegation, and that’s all that matters.
No fight, No belief, No team spirit, No confidence, and No effort.

Play a system that suits your players Don't try to force your players into your preferred system 4-4-2 with Moore and Mc Burnie up front Hedges Hammill Isgrove Thiam as wingers Simples but my guess is Jose is a stubborn guy from what we've seen so far. If he persist we are probably down as G Monk looks like a good fit at Brum who on paper have a much stronger squad than us Que Sera sera

    Heckingbottom stuck with 4-4-2?

He barely played it all season, it was mainly 4-5-1.

We now have the forwards to play 4-4-2 and the ball not bounce off them and put us under pressure.

It’s time for back to basics football.

We STILL don’t have the midfield two for it though

Thought that’s why you employ a manager , how good he is depends on how much of the above he brings to the table

What a load of ***** written in this thread. I know it doesn’t look good for staying up but we certainly aren’t doomed yet. The only people associated with BFC who are giving up and showing no effort aren’t the players or the management but some of the “we’ve paid our money so our opinion is as good as anyone’s “ moaning gits on here.

If there is a clause in Williams and Gardner's contracts that says they must play if fit- we are as good as down.
Midfield is the big problem... and that includes all the wingers.

Not just resigned to relegation this season, and its written all over the club and the team, but Im prepared to bet good money that this manager wont be managing us in League 1 by end of October. Ive stated it already, it was an experimental appointment and it simply hasnt worked. His background is working with quality players, which we dont have, playing continental style football that League 1 simply does accommodate.

We have a first 11 capable of staying up, but that involves reverting back to 4-5-1 (which works) and picking players that are capable of a battle.

You or anyone else on here can moan about Gardner & Williams as much as you like but the truth is they’re both far better central midfield options than anything else we have

    Cant disagree.
Both. Together. In a midfield 4 was bad enough. That is the problem. IMHO

Wouldn’t have a problem with them playing together in a 4-2-3-1 which would also give the fullbacks cover if they were pushing forward

What a ridiculous situation we find ourselves in eh?

Billionaire owners and biggest gates for 16 years or so. Sounds like a club on the up doesn't it?

Wow, people so defeatist.. Someone even said 'there is no doubt that we are going down'. Of course there is doubt, what a ridiculous statement, whilst there are enough points to play for to maintain our championship status, of course there is a doubt...

I expect to see relegated... Sunderland, Burton, Reading.
