I'm sceptical about anything in the Sun but as the saying goes.....no smoke without fire. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if there was unrest among the players.
Let's hope so, only 1st half against Birmingham and 1st half against Norwich where we've looked like a team, rest of time played like a bunch of strangers
It's what worked with 8LJ when they told him to **** off with his powerpoint slides, pick the best team and play 4-4-2. Mind, most of them were good players.......
Perhaps the players should also get together to sort out performances. The jury is still out on Jose for me - so far I have not been impressed in the slightest but it is nothing to do with tactics that force our players to miss sitters, to lose the ability to play a dead ball effectively or misplace six yard passes. Maybe if they got the basics right more often we wouldn't be in the ****.
If theres even a hint of truth in it then its the end for the manager..... But i agree its not all down to tactics why were losing, player performances havent been good enough and they need to look at themselves also.
Whenever I hear gossip about what's going on behind the scenes at Oakwell (funny how this never happens when things are going well) and it's taken as the gospel truth, I always think back to the Cissie and Ada characters created by Roy Barraclough & Les Dawson.
What a load of *****, why are they in outrage now but not about the preceding 5 months of “boot it up front to the 5 foot nowt lad”. Tactics aren’t the problem it’s user error for me.
Probably very little in this. However as some have said Jose's tactics aren't to fault for some of the terrible decision making and general lack of ability on show. Guess if such meetings have taken place then at least it shows the players care.
They’ve not appeared to up to now, and did nothing when turning out turgid weekly performances for heckingbottom so don’t give them too much credit. I suspect it is organised by the ones frozen out of the team throwing a hissy fit more interested in themselves than any tactical ineptitude or Barnsley fc’s Wellbeing.
It's all hypothetical - as i said i very much doubt it's happened. And I agree very few seemed to care against millwall. I do like the idea of it being organised by those being frozen out though. Heard Hammill, Bradshaw, Mccarthy and Isgrove have been practising their high press and counter attacking transitions in Tuton's back yard.
Wonder how their supposed meeting went. "Waaah waaah waaah it's the managers fault we can't hit a barn door and gift needless chances to the opposition every week"
