Maybe, yes. But Mick is an experienced championship manager. Monk too. Morais is not. He is a punt, just like the players. Circumstances dictate where we are. I'm not anti the new owners or the management.
Mick McCarthy has had a good career in management. Monk did okay with Swansea a garage with Leeds when he had the championships top goalscorer in his squad, spent a fortune with boro and then was sacked. Anyway both ruled their selfs out of the barnsley job early on so they were never coming here.
Doesn’t mean you appoint someone with no experience and a dreadful record in management though does it?
. Wouldn't have been my choice but management is a funny thing one season a manager is great the next terrible. Look at Wilson did very little since 97 but untill other year was still getting jobs flicker was a great manager for half a season.. Heckys record since last Jan was awful. If jose doesn't keep us up I would get rid at end of season personally.
I think I would. All depends if they are intent on following the pup they were sold - if they are going to keep recruiting punts and hoping to flog em we can forget it
I think if we keep the majority of the squad together get rid of the dead wood mowatt,Townsend, Davies and a few more. Bring in a bit of quality and some guidance will will have a good squad for league one. Hammill, moore, Bradshaw, pinnock, Lindsay, Jackson, isgrove, moncur can all perform in league one.
Can’t see Hammill being here. Not convinced by all others to be honest. Bradshaw has a great record of course
Christ mate - where were you when Lee ******* Johnson was here then??? That was some of the worst football I have ever seen. Morais' few games in charge here I feel he's at least having a go with what we have. We are at least creating chances - under LFJ we probably had about 1 shot at goal per home game for a few weeks pre/post Xmas just before he walked.
Yeah but you were talking about the worst football you've seen, not number of wins on the spin, old chap! and that crap under LFJ was positively the worst football I've ever seen Oh and he'd left before we got to Wembley...
How can we possibly be "a lot worse" than under Heckyarse? With only 7 wins in a calendar year, that would really take some beating for crapness.
