Top and bottom of it for me is Cryne sold off all the family silver in one go to make the club look like a good investment and that silver was replaced with a boat load of inexperience when a smattering of experience was needed just to get us through to seeing some of the young uns stepping up.

We needed men, we bought/hired boys without experience.

No probs I accept your point about an explanation. I would say very few teams have outplayed us ,or inflicted a heavy defeat on us taking into account the inexperience of our team . if I add to that the amount of goalkeeping errors that have put our young team on the back foot

Having said that I understand recruitment has played a major part in the season . But as I said young players as we know will have dips in form . The die was cast when the experienced players were sold ,which has inevitably put the new squad under pressure, it has been a big ask for them, they will however come out the season more experienced hopefully for the benefit of the club moving forward
I don’t expect you to agree but am sure we have the same goal

Would it then be fair to say the club have hung the young players out to dry ? And also the management

To some extent yes, the management (previous and current) and players take all the flack. But the reasons we are in this mess are decsions or policy that was set higher up the pecking order at the club

Yes. Recruitment AND retention all about being proved right rather consolidating in the Championship

I agree with most of that. I’m not so convinced though on the voracity of the experience/time is all you need theory - if you are not up to the level that won’t change with 100 games

Started reasonably well but we were always very negative under hecky always set up to draw we went 9 games without scoring we won 1 game in 13 against Sunderland. We were going down under hecky who has took his poor form to Leeds it was a blessing in disguise our only problem is I'm not sure we appointed the right man hope he proves me wrong. Hes Been much more posiive than hecky was but with that we have conceded a few more.

I would not say time is all you need ,but I would say without doubt if you play alongside experienced players ,it will maximise your opportunity to reach full potential whatever that may be . It is after all a team game which requires a good mix of different attributes
