2009, ironically against forest. We dropped the ticket price, made it easy and advertised it and saw our attendance jump from 11,000 to 20,000 give or take a couple of hundred.
What is the average amount of away fans that have been brought this season? You can also sell tickets to away fans in the west lower and the north stand, you don't have to limit yourself to one area.
This thread is becoming a farce , it was about the club giving something back to the fans who went to Forest when the game was called off & now has turned into a debate about ticket prices which has been done to death . If I was one of the hierarchy reading this , I would say , " what is the point " . Probably , an easier way would have been to issue a travel voucher of £x to fans who produce a match ticket from the original game, then only the fans who lost out received a form of compensation & those who want to bitch about all things ticket prices could carry on with a different thread
Burton are comparable to us ? Fook me in what possible way are they ? They’re not in any way . Some folk on here boil my piss . All from the club putting on FREE travel , you couldn’t make it up
Why doesn't anyone remember when it was a fiver and there was a home sell out v Leicester in 2007. Hundreds locked out. http://www.skysports.com/football/barnsley-vs-leicester/83818
Some people may not know season a ticket holder , just a thought. This has been said numerous times floating supporters , don’t really know what price will be charged on match day, because of the difference in categories price banding . Make it £20 max
No we actually cut it to about 3,500 and stuck them at the back of the North stand instead of around the tunnel and front, Its the only time we've done that, we had raised the issue on here and obviously Pat had read it. The home end completely sold out. Edit. Just found 3,708 away fans https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...est-1-tykes-not-safe-yet-says-davey-1-2341357
I took it lass to the Millwall game with it being a £5. We both left at half time, it was so poor. Needless to say, she won’t be coming back to Oakwell again anytime soon. It’s not that she’s not into football. She used to be a season ticket holder.
