Bolton's not much better either. They've won only once away all season and the other two home games are against top teams. Burton might come too late for them..... Millwall (H) Barnsley (A) Wolves (H) Burton (A) Forest (A)
I think form goes out of the window at this time of year , team's at the top end tend to start getting nervous so you get some unexpected results, we just have to take care of our own business, especially against Bolton, sithi.
I had all but given up. The Birmingham results really seemed to be the killer blow. Now we have hope. I still think we are more likely to go down then stay up. But momentum can be huge as we well know.
1 win in 13 is it? 2 in 20? Roughly those sorts of figures can't be bothered to check. The general trend of our form this season is that we won't be able to back Saturday up with further wins. Even bad sides win eventually. That said I think we can stay up, we certainty have given ourselves a lifeline. Chances are it's going to be really tight, and I'm with them all the way. Just my opinion is we are more likely to go down than stay up. Doesn't mean we will.
Bolton are below us in the form table, have a harder run in and we have a game in hand on them, they still have us to play just as we are gelling as a team. In conclusion, strongly disagree.
Plus we are scoring goals at long last , 5 in the last 2 games , if we can cut down on some of the batshit mental defensive mistakes I reckon we'll stay up, sithi.
If we are above them by the end of play Saturday then I will change my view accordingly. Points on the board are what matter. We are showing signs of life I agree on that. Can we continue to win games? Time will tell. Don't misunderstand I think we can do it, and i feel so much more positive than I did Saturday morning. But one swallow......
I mean if you want to be a dick about it, that is sort of correct. 2 in 8 is far more relevant to the run in than fact skewing though.
