Glad you like it dude. It’s my go to line when describing someone who has hit skid row loads of times like your McClaren’s, Pardew’s and even Danny Wilson’s of the footballing stratosphere.
https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2017/september/mcburnie-statement/ That's two of you suggesting something fishy about it - which I've had my suspicions of for a while.
What’s fishy about it? Either BFC or Swansea ****** up. End of. There’s no conspiracy here. Or is there....
Can’t blame them if that was the case because Heckingwank has been found out. He reaped the rewards off of Wilson and LJ’s signings and was found severely lacking when bringing in his own. The only saving grace this season is watching him struggle. The rat-faced ***** has one of the worst win/loss records ever and I delight in seeing it because I was pro Hecky Out and knew that the only thing that kept him here was sentimentality.
Alternatively, if Patrick was wanting to reinforce the "well-run club" ticket that seemingly appealed to the owners, is it so unimaginable that the plug was pulled on what one assumes would have been an expensive deal for Barnsley for a season-long arrangement? I tried to look at many reports of the collapse of that deal and nowhere did one club or the other take the rap for it. It seems unlikely that they could both have been at fault. Conversely, I am your new young CEO but I make the decisions around here and I will not sanction this deal at this time? All speculation, of course, but the comments of Tyketical masterstroke and Old Gimmer are intriguing. Of course before the Tinternet we didn't have the outlet to do all this speculating - we could go the match one Saturday and forget about it until a fortnight later. These days there are web pages to write and time to fill! It probably went off in pubs and over garden gates though.
Most other clubs, how it works is HC identifies type of player he wants then the spreadsheet would highlight the best players and then club works through list to find No mystery over who was at fault, it is the responsibility of the signing club to ensure all paperwork is correct before submitting, therefore Barnsley were at fault even if Swansea did not sign.
So while we're all busy debating the merits or demerits of Hecky and Jose, the man with the most adverse effect on our season may have been Gauthier?
So thats it then , Swansea had nothing to do with the deal , the Wilfred Bony saga was not involved whatever , lets blame Gauthier for all our woes , what a load of rubbish . If people want a witch hunt then I suggest chapter one begins around jan 17 , but wait a minute , Gautier wasn"t here then or was he secretly advising the club ? Answers on a postcard
Well despite your rather excitable response, I actually said "may have". I agree about January '17 though. Funny that "blame" seems such an emotive word. I think I prefer "accountability".
I think scapegoat & witch hunt are examples of vocabulary to describe some fans thirst for accountability , I just do not get why people are targeting Gauthier when it is fairly obvious that the problems are more deep rooted than his appointment
Go after 12 games managing a crap unfit team shaped by the previous messiah. Ok. Anyway forget last jan 2017 time to look forward mate
