Looks like the inevitable will happen now after yesterday's defeat. While I think jose isn't fully to blame for this and has become a scapegoat for some. He has given us no hope with his poor tactics and strange lineups. I really don't think he has the dressing room or any respect from players or fans. He must go for me.
To the players we have alot of young heads and potential and no doubt talent the difference between the championship and league one is massive here are the players I would keep.

Gk Walton for back up Davies and Townsend ship out

Right back jason McCarthy came through a good academy at saints was player of the year at Walsall last season in league one. Keep Pearson for back up

Center backs lindsay,Jackson and pinnock could all do a job in league one

Left back fryers (good enough for for league one? Jurys out) ship out bring in new

Wingers hammill- not upto it in championship but will be good in league one worth a new deal make captain
Isgrove- key player for us keep fit
Thiam- keep hope the manager can get the best out of him

Center mid/no10 Potts will be a good player in league one.
Moncur time to cut our losses? Talented but attitude is questionable.
Malian- keep give a run of games
    Mcgeehan - squad player

    Forwards
Moore- key player in league one will score and create
Bradshaw- proven at league one level
    Victor- promote to senior squad

All not mentioned can go for me center mid who can tackle and pass, goalkeeper who can save shots and a left back are most important positions.

Get this clown out asap get someone in let them work with this bunch and decide who he wants gone and what positions he needs.
Not sure who I'd want as manager, still think Grayson would have kept us up instead of jose. Inexperienced I'd go with hassel or Darren moore. Experienced not sure who is avalible now not many about atm big Mick would be nice but no chance.
    You league one reds.

I would get rid of everyone that someone is silly enough to take off our hands and start from scratch.

Get rid of those responsible for the situation we are in, who have a losing mentality. We want lads like the last lost who can get promoted and carry on the momentum.

Whilst I don't doubt some current players could do alright in league one, what's the point when if we get back up we have to get rid anyway.

But do we have to get rid if we come back? Potts has jumped up 2 leagues to play in the championship Lindsay from Scottish football Jackson was playing on loan at hartlepool before us pinnock in confrance and so on. It was always a big ask even Conor and Sam and the rest had a season to bridge the gap. These players can improve and age is on their side.

I stand by that by scapegoat he isn't tottaly to blame for our decline and people were on his back from the get go. I do think a more experience manager would have saved us. He is a clown because of the messing about with starting 11 and formation in two vital games.

I stand by what I said , I think your post was spot on but to call someone for trying to do their job a clown is bang out of order

To be fair though if he had'nt changed anything and we'd still lost he'd be a clown for not trying anything different.
The rot was well set in long before Jose came here.

I also think letting fans pay 39 quid a pop at elland road then to name 5ft nowt Bradshaw as a lone striker against 2 big center halfs, leave pinnock on the bench who played decent when he came on v Bolton and play matt mills instead, start Mahoney from no where also out of order. He lost all my respect then.
What also gets me is when we beat the blades he didn't mind coming over and applauding but when 1800 travel on a Tuesday night he doesn't acknowledge the fans.

Don't think we are too far away from a good league one team maybe a keeper and a couple of centre halves. Possibly a couple of full backs. Perhaps a central midfielder or two. Potentiality a pair of wingers. A case could be made for 1 or 2 forwards. It's conceivable we could do with some extras for back up. But other than that we look good.

The majority of players will be ok in L1. However i think we need some clear leadership on the pitch. We also need to give more of a test to Brown and one or two young uns. Also we need to freshen things up and rebuild confidence. To do that i would want and expect 5-6 outs and ins.
