Leaving early.

I would hope that the club open the gates early tomorrow if things aren’t going to plan. If we concede early on people will have better ways to spend the rest of the afternoon so I expect a mass exodus.

I am not standing there at the end appreciating a ***** season. Despite not thinking we'll actually go down tomorrow, pub is a lot more appealing.

 

We always score late on at home these days...

 

Good chance I'll be off early if it goes as expected. No need to stay and see it.

 

If the effort is put in I will show my appreciation win lose or draw

Does my head in folk leaving early but I understand the frustration or people that need to get public transport etc . A mate who sits in front of me always leaves with ten minutes still on the clock and I say “ you’ll miss the goal” gallows humour type thing . But he has actually missed loads of goals !

 

If the atmosphere turn nasty near the end I'll leave early, poor season or not these players and manager have failed through just not being good enough and not because they don't give a toss. Unfortunately at certain times we are all just not quite good enough it doesn't deserve abuse from thoughtless knobheads who say I've paid my money I'm abusing and shouting what I want.

 

I generally agree, with the exception of Moncur. He is good enough but just doesn't give a toss.
