Well they’d sign him as a player who is out of contract and will no doubt pay him a signing on fee. Also, we haven’t released him so not a ‘free’ as in the usual footballing circles.
I hope we stay up and the new owners make a big effort to keep him. I thought he was excellent yesterday. It's not often you describe a defender as "unplayable" but he really is sometimes when he goes forward. Rarely loses the ball, turns on a sixpence, hard as nails and can pass. Lovely player.
I completely agree. He’s another that has been used as a scapegoat of late and I think it’s predominantly unwarranted stick that he’s getting. We’re a much better side with him in the XI and I would love him to stay.
Player of the year, in my opinion. I genuinely believe that he wouldn’t look out of place in the premier league.
Agree with this. It’s going to cost us a fair bit to replace Yiadom and McBurnie that’s for sure. I think Andy can do better than Leeds though. I think a top championship club, or possibly even a lower premier league team, is where he’s at right now. Not that basket case of a club.
He’s free from July 1st and can basically do a pre contract agreement with whoever he wants already. (Any time within 6 months of his contract ending)
Wouldn't be surprised if Hecky want's 4... Yids McBurnie Bradders and Mahoney. See all them at Leeds come Aug..
If he does sign them reckon they’ll be playing for a different manager come start of next season. Their fans want him out.
I'm sure we do, the owners essentially gave up £2 million by not selling him in January, but I think he wants to move on. Fair play to him though, after he didn't get a move he's not said anything about it or put in a transfer request.
Even when’s he’s been atrociously dropped a couple of times, he’s still towed the company line. I’m a huge fan of Yids. Best player we’ve got that’s ours, and by far.
? Each to his own opinion I know but that can only be based on preconceived prejudice rather than analysis of his performance.
Someone who hasn’t been mentioned and that I have had great doubts about is Zeki Fryers. After the first five or ten minutes I thought he was going to be ripped to pieces by their number 7 with a strange name. However, Fryers stuck to his task and gradually got on top of the winger so as to shut down a great deal of danger on that flank. Well done.
