I couldn't believe it players didn't respond earlier when 3 of their players surrounded young Walton when they got a free kick.

He should have had some support from our boys a lot quicker than he did. Plus the referee should have told their lot to **** off...

    Unless I missed something???

We are too nice and sporting though, that's sadly the way we are. We should have had players surrounding their players and then done the same to their own keeper.

Hopefully we will come back next season as a set of win at all costs nasty ********, where we get no respect from other teams and only hear how much they hate us. Being hated hasn't done Millwall any harm.

I’ve never seen a team send 3 players to do that, usually it’s just one of them on the keeper.

At least the free kick was then blazed high and wide.

Brereton did it at Forest - horrible tw*ts, clearly unsportsmanlike conduct and ref should get involved

Yet they beat us easily and are comfortably above us in the league. Obviously a team can't win on gamesmanship alone, but it helps to have a nasty streak.

To be fair that was just about the only bit of gamesmanship they adopted all afternoon. Pleasant change from the usual goings on from the "streetwise" teams in this league. I hate to see it and I am glad, in some ways, that we don't behave like that. On the other hand we would win more matches, and certainly get more decisions if we followed suit. Sad to say that though.

Why should the ref have? They didn't do anything wrong

Why would putting more players in front of Walton help him to line up the wall?

If they are blocking the keepers line of sight wouldn’t they be classed as offside?

Because in the context of his age it's unsportsmanlike like behaviour...
