    The sad thing of course is that should we stay up the fickle bipolar morons on here will be relatively silent whereas should we go down they'll be wanting anyone's and everyone's body parts hanging from the top of the Ponty end wall.

    Forest scoring first will take the pressure of us but Preston scoring will make it like Huddersfield under Flicker all over again. JM jnr. will Park the Bus and try and hold on for a draw and hope Derby play along is my guess.

    Sadly (or maybe not) I'm not Doris Stokes, so I can't predict the result next Sunday. I'm sure if Doris was still with us (by the way, Doris, why haven't you been in touch to say that you are in the afterlife and enjoying it immensely) she would say that three teams wearing shorts will escape relegation and two teams wearing shirts will be relegated along with Sunderland. Let's face it, her powers are still amazing, long after she was returned to the Earth, as all of us will be one day.

    Derby technically only need a point to guarantee the playoffs unless Preston win by 9 goals plus. I think we will unfortunately lose at Pride Park.

    Preston have to go for the win v.Burton which I think they will achieve .

    Bolton in awful form have to win against Forrest to go above us as a draw would not be sufficient due to their inferior goal difference and only have two recognised strikers in Le Fondre and 38 yr old Aaron Wilbraham. They sold Gary Madine in January and never replaced him and on loan Zac Clough cannot face his parent club. Think it will end up a draw.


    Meaning we stay up on goal difference.

    There is a major gas leak outside Pride Park and the match has to be postponed till Wednesday night. Both teams know what they have to do on the Wednesday, Wait a minute I can't put up with a extra 3 days of this.

    The forecast in today's Daily Mirror, mirrors SD's prediction. Reading, Birmingham, Burton and Barnsley
    all to lose and Bolton to draw with Forest. If that proves to be right, because of our superior goal difference,
    we stay up and Burton and Bolton will join Sunderland in Division 1.

    I could see us getting a point at Derby, as they only need a point & will be careful not to risk defeat. Unfortunately a win for Bolton and we are down. I hope the same Forest team shows up on sunday that played us.

    Unfortunately I see us losing to Derby, despite the rise in hope following last Saturday.
    I've got a feeling Bolton and Burton may both draw and Burton will survive.

    But who knows, eh.
