Walton and Davies are good enough for L1. If we can get a decent one free then all good. I wouldn’t prioritise unlike if we had stayed up.

Massive overreaction. Bradshaw scored 20 odd goals in L1. Moore got 13 in 19 games. Hammill if he stays was the second best player in that league other than Conor. MCarthy was player of the year at Walsall. Isgrove was an influential player.

The nationality of the manager is irrelevant his abilities are not.

We need a box to box midfielder, to put the engine back in the engine room.

Agree with this. One great signing in this position could galvanise the whole team

Not an overreaction at all it's a reaction to having watched this team and realising that they're simply not good enough it's not their fault and I've said before these lads are triers bit that's all they are it's certainly no coincidence that the slight upturn came with McBurnie's loan spell the one true bit of talent in the entire squad
The club saw fit to buy lower league players and that's exactly where we are now.
I think this squad is a tainted squad now and it's going to be a hell of a job from the club to sell this mediocrity for another season

As well as a box to box midfielder, it is also lacking in real pace.

I’ll regard anything less than top two as failure I’m afraid. A manager who knows his way around league one and championship first and foremost. Needs a brand new spine to the team of players with quality and a sprinkling of experience. Need to be tranna emulate Wigan for me with the consortiums resources. Can’t fook about anymore with the little ole Barnsley corner shop mentality in the position we are in. After all, we’ll be a hard sell internationally for the new owners to turn a healthy profit down in the pub league.
