    Guessing your a nipper. Anyone watching reds since late 60s would hopefully agree with me on Norman Hunter. Quite a few always said , well it were clarkies side . But I honestly believe we would not have produced the same style of football. Simply breathtaking at times.

    Fair enough mate noticed you were a grandad. But a young grandad lol. Went to all 3 games v Rhyl. Still it took em 2 replays to beat us. Lol. ( me and mi cousin got pelted wi tomatoes outside rhyls ground whilst waiting for my older brother to come out of their social club with his mates. Also for some reason was in their end. Proper **** missen.) did go to Marine. Btw.

    Was that the pre season tour (time flies as that gets older.) Tried to talk our lass into going but the boss put her foot down and insisted we went to warmer climes. By the way are you Andy of penistone reds. Not seen you around for a while if so. Hope all is ok .

    Yea I am Andy from Penistone, all is good. My new job taken more of my time up. Still go to most games, missed 5 away games last season.

    Mine is Allan Clarke when he first arrived as player/manager in 1978. He transformed the club for the better like no other before or since.
