    Anyone read Into this case??

    If he has been jailed for what I’ve read then it’s a sad state of affairs, there’s known nonces patrolling the streets but they’d rather jail someone for opening his mouth!!

    He recorded video inside a court last year during a trial, ignoring the signs that say it is illegal. He was found guilty of "Contempt of Court" and given a 3 month sentence suspended over 18 months. Last Friday he repeated the offence, was arrested for "Breach of the Peace", and was given a 10 month sentence for "Contempt of Court" in addition to the 3 month suspended sentence after pleading guilty.

    His actions (irrespective of your views of those accused at the trials outside which he was arrested) *could* have been seen to unfairly influence the jury and result in a re-trial or acquittal of the defendants. For that reason, reporting restrictions were placed on his arrest/trial until the other trial had finished, but were lifted yesterday after it was being incorrectly reported over foreign and social media.

    He's basically giving these people in court a chance of 'getting off' - Simplest way of putting it.

    He does all this to rake in money from youtube, website hits and to sell his books.

    He's nothing more than a vile chancer and a complete xenophobe.

    The people who support him are either gullible, racist or just thick.

    IMHO.

    There’s an excellent thread on Twitter compiled by Stephanie Finnegan, an accredited reporter who was at Leeds Crown Court throughout the trial including during Tommy Robinson’s livestream. She gives a factually correct succinct summary of the events.

    Whether you agree with tommy robinson or not, it doesnt take away the fact that there is a serious issue with grooming gangs and the authorities have failed to act on it. Nobody dare talk about or challenge it for the fear of been labelled a racist or a bigot. Tommy robinson isnt the problem here.

    The two are separate issues. Tommy Robinson is a problem. Grooming gangs are a problem which now seems to be being addressed.
