Anyone watched Godless on Netflix? On episode 7 & it is excellent. A lot of typical western stuff, but a lot more subtle and interesting. Any other recommendations?
I'm up to episode 5 out of 8 I think, you are on the edge of your seat all way through, let me know what think cheers.
Finished 13 reasons why season 2 today. Harrowing as much as it is good. Safe is on my list. Arrested development reason 5 has just dropped if you want a funny American comedy.
Just finished watching 'Cobra Kai'.. 30 years on from the karate kid. Same actor playing him and the fella he beat in the final... Pretty cheaply made and very loose storyline but hey Karate Kid was part of my childhood so had to watch the entire season.. Currently watching Krypton, based around Supermans grandfatha and their planet. Decent. then all my old favs like walking dead, breaking bad, suits, designated survivor, Gotham...loads more.. obviously need to get out more haha.
Peaky Blinders - Class - Best thing on TV for me! Sons of Anarchy - Really enjoyed this after a slow first few episodes. Alot to watch!! Safe - Finished this at weekend, Good series. Very very Binge Watch!
Netflix you say? The Rain - Danish series Dirk Gently - BBC America Dark - German series not sure if on Netflix but The Leftovers is brilliant
Thanks, they sound interesting. I do like foreign TV series, a lot of them seem to have better story lines than a lot of UK / US stuff. I watched the British Dirk Gently adaptation & didn't really get on with that that well. I'm a big Douglas Adams fan & read all the books many years ago. May try the US series...
Bit off topic but watched 'THE BIG SHORT' the movie on Netflix recently very good it's about the American housing market collapse in 2008. (drama/comedy) staring Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling & Christian Bale
