    Yep. Agreed. 1970 world cup though...marvellous.
    I remember I had this cardboard wheel with different disks on it.
    You twisted each disk to predict the results. It always ended up with Brazil as winners.

    Hard to argue with that. Looking at that picture though and the physique of some of those guys the caption underneath could have read....."Men, are you skinny? Do you get sand kicked in your face?"

    My favourite ever team was Brazil 82. And they went and blew it against Italy and Paolo Rossi.

    I remember being in a crowd of 45,000 to watch Santos and Pele play Wednesday. We got the afternoon off school to go watch! :)

    1970 world cup final was the first I can remember watching. (honest). And I watched it on my aunties colour TV. Imo no other final comes close to matching the football displayed in Mexico City that day.
