Lasted longer than I thought, decent pay out for him. Where next for him as a move I wonder? 12 months salary paid already by Leeds so plenty of thinking time for him.
V good call. He’s a natural bullshitter he’ll spew mediocrity from league 1 to championship for a few years yet.
I think David Hopkin is more likely for that job. But we will see! I genuinely hope he goes on to have a good coaching career, just can't imagine he will ever be well received in Barnsley any more.
Id have him back as academy coach or failing that parking attendant or Steward. I don't think he will get another championship club to manage but he has got over 2million for 6months work nice if you can get it.
If we went for any other head coach with a win ratio of heckys over the last 12 months this forum would go into meltdown.
With his record and 100% guaranteed to bitterly divide the fan base yet people still want him. Bonkers.
He inherited a very good team yes a group of individuals far too good for league one. Id say behind Bassetts team though so 3rd best for me.
One of my concerns about this news is Nathan Winder. He is a near neighbour of mine with a young family, I was worried that he left the security of Bfc for Lufc,he wasn't highly paid at Oakwell but it seemed fairly secure. Support Staff tend to get a Months salary not a years,I don't like the fact that in football you are rewarded for failure, none of us are treated the same in our jobs. It may be that he is kept on in his professional capacity, who knows?
We need a fitness coach. Nathan would be welcome back in my eyes. Very highly regarded at Oakwell and in wider football circles.
Nathan Winder, Alex Bailey and Jamie Clapham have all lost their jobs, too. https://www.leedsunited.com/news/team-news/23417/club-statement-paul-heckingbottom
16 games, wiped Play offs off the slate for em and got paid bundles for doing it. Well done Hecky lad whats not to like abart it.
Nice 1 agent hecky. We wouldn’t have stopped up choose what so win, win, win, win scenario all round. Now to get him back overseeing the young uns and the jobs complete.
