A bit random I know, what with all the stuff at Lufc going on. It was nice to be reminded of him via the Chronicle today. I never saw enough of him as a player to judge if he had talent;but my understanding is that he was a nice lad and took part in Community events well, unlike other players. I hope he gets chance to come and play with Blackpool.
The Blacky Lashers like to take our midfield rejects don't they.. Martin Bullock, David Perkins, Jacob Mellis, Tommy Cwyka, & Sessi D'Almeida.
Nice bloke apparently, unlike many he chose to live in the town centre & was friendly with people which is probably why he seemed to pick up a bit of a cult following. Hope he does well wherever he ends up
I remember Whitey doing a piece about him & Stefan Payne visiting Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice as Barnsley Football Club representatives a couple of years ago. According to Andy, both lads were extremely interested and moved by the work done by the Hospice. So much so that as well as handing over the club's donation, they both made personal contributions, too. Neither may have had the Barnsley career they'd have wished for, but they both came across as thoroughly decent human beings.
exactly you say he is not good enough when you never really saw him play. That is unfair for any footballer
