Maybe he will, maybe he won't, but we certainly don't know that yet. For all his desire and energy, and it's a credit it to him, I've got no problem with that at all, I applaud him for it, his tendency to stick a pass, cross or shot into the stands does not a quality player make.

He played a positive part in Blackpool's promotion from League 2, but in League 1, as with us in the Championship, he was an also ran in some very poor teams who did very badly.

Ok then your choice is Akinfenwi or Potts for next season ... we don't know if it will work out but I also know given the choice who I would rather choose to play for us next year

 

I can only conclude from this thread that you simply like an argument. I can't claim to be innocent in getting involved in debates myself but I tend to bite when I think someone is talking s***e. You seem to deliberately talk s***e purely to elicit a response from all and sundry.

Potts, without question. But just because Akinfenwa is rubbish it doesn't mean Potts is any good. Given a real choice I'd have neither and as far as I can see it's not one or the other. I was responding to you saying that Potts can definitely be relied upon at this level not making a choice between the two players. From his record at this level Potts can't be relied upon, that's all I was saying. Think it's obvious from my posts I don't want Akinfenwa. The suggestion to sign him is preposterous.

He has, he wasn't very good, so the League 1 clubs let him go. Other League 1 clubs could see he wasn't all that so didn't sign him. He's done alright at League 2 level. If we were in League 2 and he was 5 years younger he'd probably be worth a punt. With us being in League 1 and him being 36 your suggestion is just ******* daft.
