Thanks for all of this. Seen a few of the places you mention and got some of them pencilled in - particularly that warpigs place. We've got a few things planned already - Carlsberg brewery tour (they do real ale in Denmark apparently not just pissy lager), I think we will go to Malmo on the Friday and we're watching Denmark v Mexico on Saturday. How much was the train to Malmo? This all sounds bang on apart from the beer prices.
It was about 15 quid there but I couldn't work out how to get a return so ended up having to get two singles which was a bit annoying. When you get to the first stop in Sweden they come on and check your passports. Only takes about 35 minutes. There's some proper amazing modern architecture, particularly the uni buildings. I just headed north up to the Turning Tower. The harbours are stunning. South of the main station it's more traditional Scandanavia, with some big squares with lots of bars round.
I meant the train journey only takes about 35 minutes, not the passport check, that took 10 minutes max. No checks on the way back
A return to Malmo and two beers - that's Friday's budget spent! Did you look at those Copenhagen passes at all?

We didn't mate cos we barely used public transport because of the bikes. I'm sure you could get a return to Malmo cheaper. I was hungover and a train arrived so I couldn't be arsed to investigate.
You can get into other stuff like Tivoli Gardens but £100 seems steep - hard to think it would be economically. We're staying in Vesterbro - where did you stay? ,
Ah right. Weather was that good we never went in a building, although I fancied the Design Museum or heading out to the modern art gallery. You could buy tickets for Tivoli from our hostel. We stayed in the Generator just north of Nyhavn, but you're in a better spot for going out. Cycling back from Jolene at 3am wasn't the best idea.
