Do we think our recruitment will mainly be from overseas as well?

As long as the players are good enough I don't mind but it's a gamble when you look at this last season....

As long as we sign a nasty fcker for midfield and a pacy striker, think we're not bad tbf. Whatever nationality. Assuming Bradshaw dunt leave etc

I think to some degree it works as we saw under Davey with signings like Colace Bogdanovic and Muller but there are a lot we've signed from abroad that weren't very good.

I'm hoping for a mixture from here and abroad....

I don't think there'll be a big influx of anyone unless we can sell first. The squad is too big for League 1. There's positions we definitely need to strengthen, we need two midfielders who can tackle for a start, but if I were chairman I'd want to see the squad size reduced before bringing anyone else in.

It's a tough job for the new manager. I don't personally believe we have a squad capable of challenging for promotion, but neither do we have any room to bring in the players who could help us achieve that.

The scatter gun approach coming home to roost... Way too big a squad, but who is going to want em..

Are you sure you're a reds fan.?I understand we haven't got the coach you want but surely you want the club and manager/ coach do well.If you don't back the new fella all you'll be doing is wanting him to fail to prove your point. Not really a healthy approach to life.Lets all enjoy the ride and see where it takes us.
By the way no matter how many times you say you don't want this manager nothing will change. So lets say we get where you're coming from.

I wouldn’t mind if he could find us a Heinz muller type keeper a mildfielder like Matheus and a striker like goetze but let’s wait and see plus he has a transfer window to buy players

Unless he's been following levels 3-5 in England closely for the last few years (highly doubtful) I would hope the majority of his signings would be from Germany, if within a week we've signed a few 25 year-olds from the conference then I would worry.

There’s been a recent post about racism.
Well this isn’t racism - but the BBS is currently awash with posts that some would describe as racism.
But it is - the FEAR of any type of change no matter how small that change may be.
The club as a problem - a large percentage of supporters are ultra conservative - they hate change.
