    Hate to say I told you so. Yes I really do because I'm gutted we are going down the wrong route yet again.

    I see people from what I call 'the better fan than you brigade' are out in force on social media and here. 'Can't believe Barnsley fans doing this, well look at me I'm a proper supporter because I type get behind em to rake in a few likes.'

    Yes I will sing his name on the first day etc, but I won't hide from the obvious reality that this is appointment is the very last thing Barnsley F.C needs.

    we needed someone like Grayson. There is a lack of experience and proven track record throughout the club and the last thing we need is a head coach with exactly that.

    agree on McCann but Ainsworth has a promotion.

    Another Morais sort of situation is underwhelming in my book. Not even on the bookies odds then out of nowhere they appoint someone who no one has heard of.

    Come on now at least give him a chance. He’s not even been announced yet ffs

    How about backing and giving support to anyone (Grayson, Stendel, hell even Akinfenwa) that is the head coach. Let’s back the guy, have a successful season and get the good feeling back.

    McCann would have been underwhelming and Ainsworth would have been the perfect fit whereas this guy’s appointment is just flat out bizarre yet again so another underwhelming selection.

    We need to calm down. Put our trust in the Board and hope they've made the right decision.
    Let's at least give this lad a chance in the hope that he's got the basic know how of how to manage a Club in the
    third tier of the EFL. I for one wish him all the best.
