‘ultra left/remain idiots ‘ are you lumping them together because I think you’ll find most of the ultra left voted brexit
What remarks? Read through a few threads last night and could not find anything to suggest your point.
What do you think to their first season ticket campaign? Or the fact they broke our record January transfer window spend in their first window?
I’d normally argue with my own shadow but the level of cockwombleness makes it completely pointless to attempt a ‘debate’.
I was actually going to ask if you were in the mood for an argument. At least you'd talk sense. How about we revisit the merits of Simon Grayson?
Aye but then someone would pipe up with something completely irrelevant about Brexit or the nationality of the tea lady or how Chairman Mao liked his tea and it would all go horribly wrong. Speaking to a mate who supports Preston (for his troubles) and reckons that Grayson is a great L1 manager but anyone who appoints him would have to move him on. Calls him the Poundshop Warnock. That’s probably a fair analysis so in terms of where we are would have been a reasonable ( short term) appointment.
I agree. Zero to do with his nationality, how can that even bother anyone nowadays in football anyroad. But more like the decision based on our situation, the recent past and this guys C.V. surely nobody can be 'happy' with this appointment, i mean truly 'yes, i was hoping for this Strendel fella all along' Just looking at the facts its a madness appointment. I will ,as hopefully, all will get behind him 100% but as it stands today, seems an appointment with all logic extracted from it. Anybody is justified to question it surely. I reckon weve managed to employ a manager that 100% of fans arent 'happy' with, not 'not my first choice but seens ok' but truly happy with. Takes some doing that, perhaps only us could...
Well, we'll never know now. Hopefully the new guy will be a success. Anybody's guess whether he will be or not. Looking forward to a press conference today to see what he says though, if his english isn't great, it may not go beyond manager speak.
Talk about over reaction, can’t say I’ve noticed anybody being overtly racist at all, there’s been childish jokes that maybe right but weren’t meant as racist. There’s been comments about did we want overseas owners but that was because of them not been local and how serious they were. Regarding whether we wanted a foreign manager that was mainly to do with if it would take him a while to get to know the league. I think some folk just look for a reason to take umbrage or see what they want to because it suits them!
I know. I was a bit surprised when I read a comment from someone who said his wasn't that good. I guess we'll find out later today.
