Make sure you season them properly and cook em long enough as those spikes could seriously damage your mouth.

The aroma of spit roasted hedgehog around the Keepmoat. Makes a change from the burger vans.

Having a wildlife friendly garden excuses you from most gardening tasks ;)

Costs us a fortune feeding everything though (worth it for results like this :D )

I keep reminding myself of that when I've got my flock of goldfinches eating better than I do and pooing on the paving!

Does anyone else remember Hedgehog flavour crisps back in the early '80s?

I do. Sure they tasted peppery.
Now, this may be one of my bizarre dreams (I have many, must be my liking of fine cheeses endorsed by George Spicer) but did the same company, that launched these crisps, also launch 'Arthur Scargill Flavoured Crisps'?

Yes, I loved them. Not as much as Seabrook crinkly ones or Fish n Chips mind but they were excellent, in a slightly odd sort of way.

No I don't remember them. I do remember a pretty unfunny joke about crisps and Arthur Scargill though.

They used to sell them at Oakwell in the 80's under the West Stand. Very happy memories.
