    Been reading that "someone" at the Oakland baseball franchise personally recommended Herr Stendel
    to Billy Beane who fed that information into the Barnsley board. Impressed with the background details they were
    able to learn regarding his time at Hannover, he was invited for interview and ultimately offered the job on a two year
    contract. I for one, sincerely hope he's given the time along with his backroom staff to prove his worth.

    Looking forward to next May now Nudge when we've won the league with 100+ points and you're worrying that he's only a year left on his contract and going to get snapped up, thus a nervous summer where we worry about losing our boss, instead of worrying about getting together a team capable of doing alright in a higher league.

    I’m just putting the rhyming name of Grendel in there.
    Grendel being a mythical monster from the continent.

    Billy Bean is mates with Arsene Wenger. Stendel spent time at Arsenal learning from Wenger.

    Not sure it’s rocket science how he may have been invited for interview when you think about it.
