    Fair enough and I think he puts to bed once and for all the thing about who selects the players we target - "the lists were already done before the end of the season" ie regardless of who the head coach was.

    Tbh I think they're overthinking the situation re: style of play - I couldn't give two hoots how much counter pressing is done as long as we win every week!

    And I still don't know if Stendel can speak English or not!

    I am assuming you're right which is extremely worrying as it suggests those in charge refuse to acknowledge that the restrictive plan led to our relegation. Either that or they are happy for financial reward to be more important than football success which is equally if not more worrying

    I don't mind going down the spreadsheet route if it brings in players that in turn bring success to the club on a long term basis i.e. not just a third tier promotion, asset strip the squad and then roll the dice again.

    They want to know the inside leg measurements of the club's hierarchy, but will then criticise them for it being in centimetres...

    The owners DON'T have to tell us a fekin thing...

    No and we don't have to attend matches either. If you want supporters to keep giving their hard earned money you have to treat them like more than just cash cows. If you want them to be emotionally invested then you have to offer them a connection

    I really don't know what they could do that WOULD make you happy ST. I think GG could come and sit in your living room for hours on end and you'd still not be happy.
    You know they like "the plan". Last time we were in this division it worked. There's not the same imperative to sell all at once if we go up but who knows.
    They've explained the recruitment process and the amount of work they put in in detail. Given a vision of the style of football they think we want. And if you read back through this forum over the years it IS the style most people want. Hard working and attacking.
    I really don't know what it takes for the club to please you and one or two others.
