There are enough pubs closing down throughout the borough why not convert one of those into a place where the spice heads can go and do their in thing in peace and away from the eyes of the general public?
In his line of work, getting involved in something off premises is probably a disciplinary which may impact in his family’s money so for that reason I don’t agree that he should have got involved.
Go and stand within eyeshot of a bouncer and drag absolutely anyone else over and see what happens. Bouncers are supposed to be a first line of defence for identifying and nullifying aggression within the area not just their own bar. Also, it looks to me like he is thrown into the ‘smoking area’ of the pub, which on busy nights is usually packed and can therefore be deemed a part of the curtege of his responsibility. I’ll wager you’d not be saying this if the mouth breather had thrown a woman over and the bouncer watched on.
'Man murdered' should've been your subject tbf. It's a disgrace how we dehumanise these people who are obviously vulnerable. Disgusting actually.
Anybody that is in the state that is induced by Spice or are of mind that Spice is a viable option for them. Addiction like this is an illness. People that are ill are vulnerable by definition.
But not very vunerable when brawling with each other throught out various spots in town. Theres almost a constant police prescence outside holden house. Or shouting and screaming at each other over trivial matters. Or the drug fuelled rages Or begging for money sometimes quite agressivly from people who i would class as vunerable the old,the infirm, the young. I stopped seeing the ever growing numbers of addicted career criminals as vunerable or victims a long time ago.
'Addicted' Addiction = illness. I get that it drives lots of issues, I've seen the damage it does & I agree it makes our Town less appealing but the proliferation of it is a societal issue & no coincidence that it's come post a decade of under investment/love for our Town. Cause & effect. Product of your environment.
This guy clearly wasn't violent. Don't tar every person with an addiction with the same brush. The person with an issue is clearly identifiable in the video.
I think people are getting confused. The video posted was uploaded to YouTube nearly a month ago. As far as I know, it doesn't show the victim or the perp of yesterdays attack. Still doesn't excuse the behaviour mind.
