If only he had 2 brothers. Imagine playing England's current formation with 3 Wisemen. We already have Christ the
Never really given a chance on here , despite often winning man of the match poll on here. A poll which was coincidently dropped when I pointed out that was the case
Never quite understood the vitriol aimed at Wiseman. He had real pace and was good going forward. Nowhere near the worst defender I’ve seen in my 40 odd years. It seems his character and backbone are in issue for some on here but I never felt that either. Good luck to him at the end of his career.
He was absolute *****. Couldn't defend to save his life, couldn't pass, couldn't tackle. Oh but he could run quickly. And to top it off he was a ****** with a sense of entitlement, a persecution complex and a bad attitude
I thought he looked good in the first half of the 2011/12 season. Quick, bombed forward and not that bad defensively. Toward the end of his time with us though he was terrible and literally didn't look like he gave a toss. I remember the game Hill was sacked, 3-1 loss at home to Blackburn, he let two Blackburn scorers just drift past him without a hint of a challenge. Not the worst defender we've had but his commitment and attitude were questionable for sure.
The thing that always got me about Wiseman, was that when bombing forward, he was like **** off a shovel. But when asked to track back, I think I could have run faster(and I can hardly even walk!)
I defended him until he left. He was adequate as a player no more or less. His attitude when he left was appalling
His best game for barnsley was at home v peterborough when we were down to ten men. They have seen wiseman as the weakest link. Stood firm. One of the best fullback displays ive seen.
He was one of the worst players I’ve ever seen. The fact that Tyrone is sticking up for him tells me all I need to know.
Sticking up for him, all I have said is he was never given a chance. Others have defended him.far more than I have in this thread
