Would some of our fans be in meltdown if our manager was doing media work when he should be back at his new club???
I have to say I'd be a bit disapproving myself. Very little experience of the Championship. Taking over at a new club where he doesn't know the players. First job in management. I'd be worried about his priorities.
He's setting himself up for trouble I think... If derby start badly the fans will be straight on him blaming a poor pre season that he spent a bit of in russia.
Depends. Maybe they go back to pre season training on Monday so it doesn't affect him. But if he's not on the training ground for the first day of training, their fans would be right to have a go.
Hes only out there till after tomorrow's England game then he's back to derby. He signed up for the world cup before he got the derby job and has already said he won't be doing any more after he starts as manager because it's a full time job
