Another great day for British Ice Hockey but more importantly for a good friend of ours Liam Kirk who at 18 has been drafted today to the NHL with Arizona Coyotes. My lad played junior with him and have been good family friends. He is the first ever British trained and born draft. With Team GB qualifying for elite league ice hockey next year this is great news and I’m so proud of the lad.

It’s a fantastic achievement. It will be interesting where he ends up next season. Hopefully WHL?

    I
Yeah I think going through the prospect camps now will sort that out and he will need to play for a year or two junior. The full time and high level of coaching will be a good test to see now how he goes against and with the best. He has natural ability and will be great to see how far he goes.
