    I hope your right I hope a few of them push on in there careers, hard for the defence last year with consistent changes In selection and not a particularly defensive midfield

    Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but it doesn't change anything, and your reply doesn't add anything to your argument.

    If this team goes straight back up this season, will the club sign them up to long deals and double their wages in anticipation of them being good in the championship?

    I would say no it won't. Not because it hasn't learned from last time, but because the players are not only unproven at that level, but playing against top players, some ex premier league.

    In theory it's maybe simple but life's not done in theory. There are practicalities to contend with.

    Not every club can progress season upon season. It doesn't work like that. Sometimes you stand still, sometimes you take a step back.

    Results are not guaranteed, not by anyone including Grayson. How do you know that Stendel won't get us the results we need for promotion and play a brand of football that is worth watching.
