    England's win last night was a "monumental robbery" and that the referee was biased and it was all a fix.

    He was getting paid £10k per game by a media outlet for his presence at every Argentina World Cup game.
    On hearing that it will cost the equivalent of £17 million to sack current Argie boss Jorge Sampaoli he's told
    the Argentinian FA to honour his ( Sampaolis remaining 4 year contract) and he'll manage the team for nothing
    saying " my heart hurts and my soul hurts. I ran so much for the shirt with flag on my shoulder, so losing like
    we did, is not acceptable." Notice he didn't mention anything about his conscience the cheating little git. Saw a film featuring Shilton recently. He absolutely detests him.

    I wonder what the obscure Russian club who've just appointed him as Director of Football ( or something) think about his offer to do the Argentina job for free.
    You'd assume any club with sense would get rid but then any club with sense would never have touched him with a bargepole in the first place.

    Actually saw his debut in England as a 19 year old at Wembley. Hell of player (we won the friendly though). These days just a bloated buffoon who probably makes intelligent Argentines cringe, even accepting South American football culture is different.

    Has always hated England because of the Falklands.

    He should never have been able to out-jump Shilton with his height.

    We lost that game in 1990 against Germany because of Shilton as well, didn't get near any of the penalties, should have put Beasant on.

    Don't know why the TV companies always get him on to comment on other England goalies.
