I think a regional type draw is sensible , much better that than being drawn with a group including say Plymouth & Southend for example , fans should be at the forefront of thought with any mid week competition

Didn't watch it two years ago, and won't bother this time either.

Pre-determined can be anything you decide upon as a format ,as long as it is agreed on before the competition commences

I'd copy a little from Scotland and use the group games as pre season games. Might actually get a few extra attending too

I’d still like us to win it. Two fingers up to the Prem.

I want us to take it seriously and win it but I do agree there. I'd like to see Oakwell totally empty for the u21 game.

I agree I genuinely think the lower league comp is a good one and we had some good times winning it. The u21 introduction for me treats the comp as a play thing in the interests of the bigger teams. It is what it is but to pay, whether £1, £2, £5 or £20 quid is against my principles. Maybe good PR to make these games free

Yes I get you there. If it’s paid won’t go def. if it’s free, I will then at least consider option to go. Chances are I wouldn’t be planning to.
