    It's only the league season that matters to me, I don't use preseason friendly results as a barometer for an upcoming campaign. We were totally indifferent (at best!) the Summer before the 1996/97 season. Yet we won all our friendlies just after we appointed Keith Hill and then just managed to avoid relegation.

    Donks, I reckon if we'd pushed Yiadom and Cavare into midfield last back end we'd still be in the Championship. There again, we might still have had Morais! :(

    Don’t worry about where players are playing at this stage, all about building fitness & letting everyone have a kick about. Hopefully the last couple of friendlies we’ll be able to field balanced sides with a few new players & probably a couple of departures
