My first ever football shirt the TAITS shirt. I don't remember it having such huge collars like in the Ian Evans photo, but I guess it must have done. Trim those down a bit and it'd still look the best shirt we ever had.

If these shirts are coming from Australia then when they get here there will be 20% vat to pay plus £12 to pay to the royal mail as well.

Having thought this through isn't this.basicallly illegal and knock off?

Are Umbro aware of this and what cut is BFC getting from this?

Can't imagine the club will let this guy sell these considering their crack down in recent years.

It's not that simple. They were able to do the admiral prem ones because Puma now own the Admiral brand. The club don't have a deal with Umbro though and neither does this guy who is knocking out these Umbro kits. Since the club has an agency who look after brand protection I would think he'll end up with a very expensive legal bill for doing this.

I just read up on them. For some reason I thought they were a company who actively looked for counterfeit goods on your behalf but it seems they are more reactive than proactive and will take action only if the club asks them to. Unless I've misread the situation again.

From my WSB experience of doing the Star Shirt. Its expensive to do. That's why it was £40 ish to sell (making a few quid for charity) We had a bit of grief off BFC but ........

The difference is you were a BFC fanzine doing it for charidee (mate) and I think it was also before they had this brand protection agency in place? Would expect them to get a lot of grief.

It's clearly been sold "from Australia" to make court action expensive & not worthwhile for small figures involved.

Product looks good & if it had been done legit, i would be tempted to buy.
