I’m not up on the intricacies of intellectual property law but weren’t Beaver also done as an entity? I recall reading at the time that this made things less complex. Umbro on the other hand...

Those of you wanting to change the club crest should hopefully see how crap the Oakleaf and Well crest looks. Taits of Hemsworth our first ever sponsors name on the shirt if memory serves.

They look stunning and I want one so much I may have to overlook any irregularities.

The Taits shirt is particularly exquisite and although of a slightly different hue deserves a place in the Tate Gallery, never mind Taits of Hemsworth.

Not sure. The club still own the copyright on the old logos though. Assume that's still the case with the white rose/BFC logo

I think I prefer stripy socks to stripy shirts...

Few things here with my experience of WSB:

    - When we did the shirt, BFC didn't have the old white rose as a trademark so from the advice we got was using that was all above board
    - We also informed Beaver about our intention to replicate the shirt but never received any challenge back
    - You're allowed to use brand/sponsors names on there because they were on there for that purpose initially

After we did the shirts, the club trademarked a load of the old badges meaning we couldn't do any more (https://trademarks.ipo.gov.uk/ipo-tmowner/page/search?id=263830&domain=1). However, the old well badge isn't registered to BFC so basically, the only issue this fella has (I think...) will be with Umbro, not the Football Club.

Could all be b.llocks but that was our experience. It does show that all of this is possible - it's expensive & it took a lot of time for us but there's definitely a market for these the club could tap in to. It just requires someone to do it a bit differently.

I only have one issue with repro stuff (as much as I love them)
They are never bang on. By that I mean exactly like the originals.
The Admiral 96/97 shirts the club produced proved that. Was the WSB stars shirt exactly like the one we could buy for the 89/90 season?

As near as damn it. Fit was slightly off (too big) but it was pretty much an exact, like for like replica down to the material used.

The ones the club did last year or year before were cracking quality, just the fit was more modern than the traditional 90s one. So again, near as damn it.
