Apparently close to happening. Could be up against us tomorrow night. Top professional for us. Leicester should have kept him at us playing regular mans football. We'd have stayed up if that had been the case.
I've no idea if true, i've a Leicester mate who suggested we were keen for Leicester to take him back early, despite the official communications suggesting Leicester recalled him. As I say, no idea if theres merit in that or not, but thought I'd share.
I would be amazed if that was true just based on the fact that he was top quality at times. I've got no idea if it's true either but if it was I'd love to know why because I can't think of a good reason.
Did he leave afte a game where he was at fault for a goal and ducked out of a header? Seemed to recall heckingbottom slating players for not being brave and wondered if that's what it might have related to? Undoubted ability, but he did struggle going the other way
Genuinely believe we'd have been comfortable midtable if both Barnes had not been recalled and McBurnie arrived in August without being recalled in Jan.
I guess we will never know for sure but if we did send him back over a mistake then we shot ourselves in the foot.
I agree with all that. Wouldn't be a shock to see both premier league regulars in the next few years somewhere.
At one point he was scoring or assisting every goal we scored (not that many mind) so if we sent him back over a mistake that was beyond stupid.
