You think we will sell the same amount of kits regardless of when it goes on sale? I reckon that kissing fathers day and a lot of people's summer vacations will significantly hit the sales figures. If of course we have bought a reasonable amount in the first place.
If that's true, and I've no reason to doubt you, that's particularly bad. I don't know why the new kits are late into the club shop. I don't know with whom the fault lies. But even if it is entirely the club's fault, if they made a colossal balls up, they didn't mean to, it was a mistake, they want the new shirts in the shop as much as the fans. They want to be selling them and making a bit of money. I can understand the frustration of potential customers, but the club will be feeling exactly the same. And the likelihood is, although I've got no evidence for this, it won't be their fault, just a delay in the manufacturing/shipping process. What you've written makes for a difficult read, it almost seems malevolent. I don't know why anyone would do that to a kid.
Don't forget that we apparently order the stuff in September which means from ordering to selling has taken 10 months so far. I reckon I could have sewn them all by hand quicker
My biggest issue is the lack of transparency. No apology or explanation from the club just a wall of silence which is what alienates and frustrates the fans
Jeeze, reading recent posts on here I don’t think there is much left to criticise the club for. We had ale, score board, signings, floodlights, programmes, shirts, toilets.... club will be getting criticisedfor the weather next. Chill the F out
don't know if it's been mentioned.....shirts were due out on Friday just gone but there was a typo on them hence no stock now.
Aye, it's perfectly true old mate. I hope you notice that I am what would be termed as a 'positive poster' on here, in that I don't look for faults with the club, the players, the scoreboard etc.. It just is what it is. But to deprive a young boy of £90, I'm afraid I can draw no positives from that.
They’re not ordered in Sept. the design process starts then. But yeah, it’s around Nov/Dec when ordered. My point is, most clubs have only just released shirts now. It’s not just us. However, I do agree that communication from the club about it could have been better. It’s the World Cup and bespoke design that has delayed it.
More like ppl love to pick on faults any opportunity. We are less likely to be tin pot under the new owners. Gonna take longer than 6montns to fix issues we have had
Surely the problem is that we are crap in all those areas, not that people are unhappy about it? We want them to get better so we can have more paying customers, you’re happy with us being badly run and turning people away.
Where the **** have they put the remote if it takes them over 6 months to find? Just how bad is a scoreboard when it takes 6 months to fix the software that runs it?
If this is true, which I certainly suspect it is. Someone needs a right bollocking. People keep knocking folk for putting the club down but some of the stuff ive seen and heard over the last 6, 12 and 18 months is just disgusting and a bit non league, people need to be held account or its never going to get better.
Maybe so but when they are so notoriously bad at stockholding the expiry should be MUCH longer than just 6 months and when the reason for not being able to use the voucher is THEIR error then they simply have to be flexible if they hold any value at all in their customers.
They should remove the expiry date from them or at least put it something like three years in to the future. I never trust anything like that. Rather save for a season pass with cash in a money box than buy those saver stamps for the same reason. Not that I don't trust BFC, I just don't trust any vouchers or the like.
