    On holiday down in Playercar in Mexico and just been talking to Mary off Storage wars Texas (if anyone as ever seen it on TV. ) she's a very bubbly little girl and laughs all the time.

    As a youth in 86 , family holiday in Malta we got friendly wi one of grumbleweeds and his family, he later appeared in max n paddy as that daft farmer.

    Met carl baker ex mk dons and pompey player now at Coventry 3 years ago in Cyprus. Talked about football and bfc told me how mansford used to be his agent seemed a decent lad to be honest.

    I met robbie fowler at a christening in Speke. He is my aunties (through marriage) cousin.

    I also played on the bandits at meadowhall with andy booth then at piggies for about an hour had a good chat.

    On my first holiday abroad when I was a youth with about half a dozen others ,Joe Mercer was on the same holiday in Lloret de mar with his wife and another couple in the same hotel. They were very down to earth people. We were on first name terms after a few days and his wife made him sort us out when we had a game of football set up against the hotel waiters.
    So I can brag that I played under Joe Mercer.

    Last year I was on the same plane to San Francisco as Nicola Adams. Nobody bothered her at the baggage reclaim, I think people were oblivious.

    Waiting for Icer’s Desmond Douglas story now..
