The young lass and her mam (bottom left) don't look too impressed, maybe they were expecting a 10-0 win lol. And why is Mamadoodoo all blurred, maybe thats what he looked like to the Oxford defenders, as he ran them ragged throughout the game.
Now be honest.... was that supposed to be a photo of Thiam and you couldn't get that feckin' camera to focus quickly enough? Bloody auto focus.... it nivver works !
The kid on the front row next to the purple shirted guy is the best one. Arms up, absolute joy on his face. Must be 5 or 6 years old maybe? Priceless..
Nope. I’m difficult to see - mi little bonny face is peeping through the crowd. Sometimes I remember where I sit - so I can see mi sen sat sitting there.
Exactly! Even the older (slightly older and much older) fans had that reaction too, it was great. I just hope we get many more cheers and reactions like that for the rest of the season because it’s a fantastic mood and atmosphere.
Well I'm a LOT older than that lad but I reacted exactly the same, along with thousands more around the ground. It was like Carnival Time, come early
You do wonder, looking at faces like that, why some people go to football matches. I mean, come on - it's Oakwell, not the Bernabau so if you're there it is because you are a FAN, not just someone on a corporate junket or a casual follower there to see the big stars play football. So if you can't at least crack a smile when Mamadou finally smashes one in from outside the box then, really......you need to find something better do with Saturdays
Exactly Prince, and whether it be Barnsley or England, I go mad with joy when Im celebrating a goal. It amazes me when fans go and simply don't seem to care either way, whats the point in that ?.
The bloke in the white England polo shirt is my brother in law, and to his right is my 77 year old dad, both celebrating as ever. Gutted not to be there with them yesterday.
The facebook thread posted on the EyUp & down page is quality, hope the link works "https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=507942222964183&id=471837133241359&width=500"
I didn't realise we had so many fans. I see bernie Eccleston, Jack Whitehall, gok wan, Patrick Stewart and romesh ranganathan Has the older guy at the front fallen into a 4 foot pit?
