why are some still banging on about us needing to sign him. Do not get me wrong I am a fan of his and will always be grateful for his contribution to the Reds . Not just for the cup win and the play off win, but for his entire time with us. He clearly loved being at Barnsley and loved the fans too. But he turns 31 in January and to that end he is slipping out of the blueprint the club seems to have. We have signed Dougal who seems to be a good replacement. I will all wish Adam the very best, but perhaps its time to move on.
Douglas is not a replacement for Adam Hamill. We still could do with some wide cover and why not get Adam in, he knows us, we know him so not much of a gamble really.
I don't think anyone is claiming that we need to sign him. If there is a deal to be done and we can agree terms then I would welcome Adam back.
My thoughts exactly. Particularly as one had over 100 posts the last time I checked, not as if there’s enough opinions in there already.
He clearly wouldn’t be offered similar to previous, otherwise he would probably still be our player. I reckon he will have to re- think what he wants chose which club he may join.
It's bad enough having yet another thread on this subject. What's worse is spelling his name wrong then a reply also spelling his name wrong. Now I make plenty of spelling mistakes and predictive text errors. But this is a former player of the year and scorer of some of the best and most important goals of recent times. Come on make the effort and spell his name correctly.
Ok then, here’s my efforts, Adm Ammeel, Hadam Alim, Adan immler. Sure if you re-arrange those you’ll find the correct spelling.
The one place on the pitch we could do with an additional player is out wide so until we sign a different winger or Hammill gets a club we’ll inevitably be linked with him
