We've had some belting goals against Leicester.

Paul McGugans 35 yard daisy cutter in a 3-0 win. Archdeacons last throw of the dice in the FA cup from 30 yards past Kevin Poole. Bullock. And recall Agnew at Filly Street bending a decent free kick in, cant recall if that was the 2-1 cup win or the 2-2 league draw that year.

Definitely not the cup game, as it was my first away match and I remember it like it was yesterday. Superb opener for them, Alan Paris I think. Game turned on its head just after half time, a close range David Currie effort from a corner, and then Steve Lowndes running through their defence and a quagmire to score the winner. Huge Reds following that day, I remember Malcolm Shotton coming over to where I was sitting / standing and rousing the crowd, not like he needed to. What a day.

I had a feeling it was the league game, 2-0 up and then David Kelly got 2 (second from a corer that was outside the d). Think that was also the day Cooper got sent off for booting right through the back of a leicester player for no obvious reason. God love him.

That was one on my original list. When it left his foot it seemed to go almost vertically upwards, before gravity took over and it dipped over the keeper.

Are you confusing two of Banger's many long range efforts?

Wasn't the Wendies goal was in open play - forty yard shot into the kop end past Bob Blunder? Tuesday neet game - 1-0 win? Doubtless the Oracle that is Big Lil will know.

Free kick was against Burnley when the vastly-underrated Ray McHale told him not to hit it as it was too far out.

Your recollection of Big Trevor's chip is flawed. Wasn't he on Donny Rooad by the Dove when he hit it?

That wasn't actually that far out was it? Just at quite an acute angle from what I remember. An absolute humdinger of a goal, in one of the all-time classic matches at Oakwell.

Didn't he get a couple of decent long range ones at Oakwell South a couple of years back?

I've just googled it to make sure. He was actually outside the Tracky sheds on Sheffield road when he noticed the keeper off his line. Hope that clears it up.

When Ronnie lets you take a kick. Don't mess it up son. Walk up Banger Banks.
Not that far out, but he could have hit that from the half way line & it still would be unstoppable.

Are you sure? I thought the Hull game was in October 2010, but Adam didn't leave for Wolves until January 2011?

Scott Jones hit a free kick against somebody at Oakwell from about 476 yards in the Premiership season. It didn't go in but we scored from the rebound. Anyone remember who it was against?
