    We seem to like Midfielders who have a surname starting with M, and players called Williams of late. George, Joe, Ben now Jordan.

    No interest anymore in bringing lads through in their own academy, so no point him being there. They weren't that good at bringing youth through to begin with. Can't think of a batch of youngsters they have brought through as regulars since Clarke brothers and Jon Worthington at least a decade ago.

    Im sure I read in the examiner a while back they were closing their academy completely?

    Edit: they were considering scrapping altogether last year but downgraded it instead.

    It seems a strange on in a way, but I'm sure Stendel is looking at how we are going to set up for games. Maybe his lad can play a wing back role.

    Looks promising, could be worth a short term deal. Though doesn't the fact that he's going to be 90 next year put him outside the scope of the spreadsheet? Perhaps we could make an exception like we did with Hammill........
