    Couple if weird questions from the interviewer again including one suggesting german fans aren’t that passionate about football...

    He was suggesting the culture of German fans was not to travel away. I was in Koln a few years ago ahead of an away match, and they had a big send off in front of the cathedral as they sang Koln FC songs for about half an hour, before several coaches set off. Quite enjoyed it as a bit of football tribalism. Obviously Andy Giddings doesn't have any similar experiences to fall back on.

    Was amused by another interviewer asking Winkler if he knew the Bradford owner, as he's German too! Because obviously.... when us brits travel abroad, we instantly know every other Brit in that country at the time. Good grief.
