I've heard that The Fridge used to be pretty awesome back in the day. Never went there unfortunately, Turnmills was my venue of choice when out and about in London.
Not a case of bad sportsmanship but I just had a chuckle reading the BBC Test Match site comments where people chip in with funny anecdotes. On the subject of failing to get a hundred because of someone's stupidity/incompetence, or whatever, I like this one from "Fred in London": Playing school cricket I was on 98 not out with the number 11 facing the next over. Quick word in the change-over 'take a single or leave it alone'. Takes my advise too literally and leaves one on middle stump.
Sorry to correct, but it was in Wales( didn't think I'd heard it on any of the local news that I get). https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2017/sep/05/the-spin-carew-vilage-spirit-cricket
