We were on midland road, but backed onto the causeway opposite the ground. Stewards told us we could park anywhere on there.

I've edited my reply above. You may have been badly advised by the stewards. It's worth trying to appeal anyway as even if the informal appeal is turned down you still get the 14 days to pay the reduced price.

Sounds as though stewards have set you up to fail mate.
If you could even identify him it’s your word against his.
Best to appeal and hope they understand your situation but even then it’s not guaranteed to give you a satisfactory outcome .
Don’t trust anyone next time other than someone in authority whom you can veify

Might give Bradford a ring and see if they can help. My mate has got the ticket, and he's secretary of the disabled football supporters association so will be into their ribs I'm sure.

Ye I would , it might work but do it nicely first otherwise they might take umbrage.
Sounds as though steward knew what he was on with though and being a c nut .
    Hope it goes well

There was one steward near the turnstiles that was an absolute n0bb. A young-ish lad (maybe 15-17), was just about to go through the turnstile when this steward dragged him out the queue. Pushed him in front of a couple of police officers and said he'd just seen him having a drink of alcohol and that's an £80 fine. The lad didn't have any on him, but his mate did and the copper asked for some ID. Duno if owt came of it, as I'd got to front of queue by then. But at the time I remember thinking, what a w@nker, looking to get the young lad fined.

Saw same steward inside, big bloke with goatee patrolling bottom left of Dallas Stand. Bet he was bullied as a kid at school or something.

I'd normally give the benefit of the doubt but there's a large disabled supporter's bay on Midland Road that the steward must have known about surely? Even if he was unaware of blue badge rules and that they don't apply in permit only areas (which the majority of Midland Road and the surrounding area is), you think he'd just direct disabled supporters to that section anyway? That's what it is there for! It's only a blue badge holder only area on Saturdays between 12 and 6 pm so it's obviously designed specifically for football fans to use.
